Day 1: Masai Mara
National Reserve
This day you will leave Nairobi on a relaxed drive across the floor of the
Rift valley via Narok town to
Masai Mara National
Reserve.
This reserve comprises the northern-most section of the Mara-Serengeti
eco-system, a magnificent wilderness encompassing 25,000 square kilometers
of natural migration route. The Great
Wildebeest Migration involves the seasonal movements of vast herds of
wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and topi through the eco-system. The Mara has a
richly varied resident game population, including the Big 5 and rare species
like cheetah, bat-eared foxes and Roan antelope. Arrive in time for lunch
followed by afternoon game drive. Return to your base for
Dinner
and overnight at Sarova Mara Tented Camp / Mara Simba Lodge. Full Board
Day 2: Hot Air Balloon
Safari Masai Mara Adventure
Early wake up call then leave for a spectacular Hot air balloon ride across
the Maasai Mara. The BALLOON SAFARI ADVENTURE begins in the pre-dawn hours
and the magnificent view over the park is thrilling. You will take to the
sky over herds of wildlife in the Masai Mara game reserve, flying in a hot
air balloon. The balloon can soar over the most inaccessible and undisturbed
parts of the reserve and offers a bird’s eye view of the plains below.
At the conclusion of your incredible flight, you’ll be treated to a
champagne breakfast in the bush. Before returning to your lodge, your
balloon pilot will present you with a Balloon Flight Certificate. This is
certain to become a once in a lifetime experience you will remember long
after returning from Kenya! You have seen spectacular sights and created
unforgettable memories – Simply close your eyes to feel the warmth of the
