This 8 days Kenya flying safari takes you to Amboseli National Park, Samburu National Reserve and finally finish with the Masai Mara.

Day 1: Nairobi "Green City in the Sun
Meet and welcome at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by Destinations Kenya Safari guide followed by transfer to Fairmont The Norfolk Hotel. The Norfolk Hotel is a celebrated historical landmark hotel whose rooms are luxuriously furnished from plush carpet to marble bathrooms.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Early morning breakfast followed by transfer to Wilson Airport for scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park. Meet and greet at Amboseli landing strip and thereafter transfer to Tortilis Camp while leisurely enjoying a game drive enroute. Lunch at Tortilis Camp which is named after the umbrella shaped thorn tree the Acacia Tortilis found around. All luxury tents are tastefuly furnished with a safari theme and they all share a glorious view of Africa's tallest Mountain: Mount Kilimanjaro. Later on, afternoon game drive till dusk.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park
Early Morning breakfast followed by full day game drive in search of big game while enjoying the mesmerising views of snow capped Mt Kilimanjaro and the acacia woodlands. In between game drives, you also have the option to enjoy the camps other activities such as guided bush walks, a trip to an authentic Maasai Village or visit to the "Bush Spa".

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve
Early morning breakfast followed by flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport for connecting flight to Samburu National Reserve. Game drive enroute to Joys Camp named after famous naturalist, artist and author Joy Adamson best known for her book, "Born Free". Lunch at this Boran style themed luxury camp which is built on the site of Joy's own camp where she raised the leopard "Penny", heroine of her last book. Afternoon game drive till dusk.

Day 5: Samburu National Reserve
Early morning breakfast followed by full day game drive in search of the so called "Special Five" that are only found specific to this region north of the equator. The "Special Five" include the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevys zebra, Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich and the Gerenuk. The reserve is also home to the big cats and other wildlife plus a host of bird species.

Day 6: Maasai Mara National Reserve
Early Morning breakfast followed by transfer to airstrip for onward flight to the jewel of Kenyan wildlife the Maasai Mara. Lunch at the Karen Blixen camp which is an eco friendly luxury camp set on the picturistic Mara River bank. Its location is also a haven to a host of elephants, giraffes and zebras that frequent the river for a drink. The family of several hippos is also a sight to behold as they lazily float on the river. Afternoon game drive till dusk.

Day 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve
Early morning breakfast followed by full day game drive with lunch in between. Another option to enjoy in between game drives is a relaxed in camp game viewing as the camp gives an unparallel view to the plenty of wildlife coming for a drink on the banks of Mara River. Arm chair game viewing at its best! Or combine all of the above.

Day 8: Nairobi
Early morning breakfast followed by flight to Nairobi. Exciting lunch reservations dubbed "the ultimate beast of a feast" at the world famous The Carnivore Restaurant will follow. Enjoy skewers of game meat such as ostrich & crocodile just to mention a few plus racks of lamb, spare ribs, chicken wings etc etc. For the vegeterians, other dinner reservations can be arranged. Time permiting, optional visit (extra cost) to Karen Blixen Museum, the former African home of Danish author Karen Blixen famous for her book: "Out Of Africa".
